The payment of the Vocational Training Compensation (Ausbildungsvergütung) is made monthly and no later than the last working day of the month. The compensation is provided regardless of whether the apprentice is present at the company, at vocational school, or participating in inter-company training courses.

The monthly payment of the Vocational Training Compensation (Ausbildungsvergütung) usually occurs at the end of the month or at the beginning of the following month.
